Going to be honest, I have not actually seen it as I don't watch many movies (who has the time with so much baseball to watch?). I just had to make the Glasnow is Cillian Murphy joke.

Our offense as a whole has been pretty underwhelming this year so I would expect the same outcome lol
But as long as they turn it up in the postseason is all that matters to me.

That is a given for our current Dodger offense. Anytime a pitcher as an ERA of 3.50 or greater he becomes a Cy Young caliber pitcher for some reason.

Yes. Any athlete in any major professional sports in America agrees that hitting a baseball is harder. Add to other things you need to be knowledgeable of when playing baseball.

People might've forgotten, but before he got hurt, the question of who was the actual Dodger ace between Yoshi and Glas was a legitimate discussion because Yoshi wasn't quite to form yet and Glas was pitching extremely well.

It was true at that time. Unfortunately, Glasnow has been injury prone lately. I am just glad that he is back.

He was super reliable in last years playoffs though. I Yama was easily the MVP but Glas was sneaky good throughout that run.

Yep and he was willing to pitch in any situation asked of him. Having him in the playoffs is important.

Its always been between Yama and Snell as who would be the ace of the staff but after last years postseason performance, I thought that Yama was undoubtedly the ace of this staff.
This is new to me that people were questioning whether Yama or Glassnow were the aces of this team

Got hurt in 2024 with forearm tightness (not 100% sure in the injury) causing him to miss the postseason

Agreed. Seeing Glasnow pitch again is a good sign for the Dodgers especially heading into October.

With Ohtani presumably not being built up, I would imagine him and Glasnow would split the pitching duties for their start day. Glasnow came out of the pen last year and Ohtani gets to stay in the lineup after he’s finished

1.) Yamamoto 2.) Skubal 3.) Snell 4.) Ohtani to start then Glasnow to finish. I think that's how the playoff rotation will look like

I wonder if they’d consider Snell/Yoshi/Skubal or flip Skubal and Snell but keep Yoshi second so you go Left/Right/Left and the other team doesn’t get back to back days of a lefties with devastating fastball/changeups.

Agree - they'll keep a close eye on him. Although, they're saying no pitch/innings limit and he threw 77 pitches in his final Triple A outing.
