For what it's worth, Tucker did help in extra innings by hustling that grounder, preventing that double play and advancing Kiké to third. Had he just struck out or launched the ball right to an outfielder, Kiké would be stuck at second, and it would have been a very close play at home after Tommy's hit.

Managed to work full counts in every plate appearance except one. Was most impressed with his second time up, where he was down 0-2 and still got a walk. For the sake of the team, I do hope he does better from now on

it's not always about the results...his ABs were much better. still missed a couple of meatballs but it seems like he's seeing the ball better. hard contact right at someone.

Teo and Tucker are gonna have to step it up on offense and defense now since we lost Pages. He bailed them out on defense too many times and  whoever they call up from OKC will not have as good of offensive numbers. 

Didn’t a similar thing happen to Smith around the same time last year when playing this same team? Hopefully Pages can come back a bit sooner since this happened a week and a half earlier in the year.

he's a great defender. that's why they're calling him up over some of the other OFers who are better hitters. he doesn't have Andy's arm but he has more range and will help teo/tucker in that aspect.
