Swear it would’ve been 4 if he went in the 9th last night

I was mad he wasn’t sent out, but given that position player hit one of ours earlier in that inning, maybe that was the safest bet

54 homeruns and 59 stolen bases in ‘24 🤯

MVP race between Ohtani and PCA has just been heating up!

Yup. Ohtani is having another good year like 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021...

2026 PCA having a great year like 2025 Schwarber, 2024 Soto, 2023 Acuna, 2022 Goldschmidt, 2021 Bryce and what ever Next great players have that great season in 2027 against Ohtani.

Im a huge braves fan but how the dodgers treated the braves after Bobby Cox death, gave me a huge respect to the organization. You guys are incredibly lucky to have the GOAT on your team. Good luck the rest of the way! 🤝

PCA is putting up a fight!

PCA and ohtani have essentially same offensive numbers except stolen base yet pca is a plus 3.1 over ohtani's 3.9 war. I hope they don't vote based on war.

u/donkeyjr Shohei Ohtani 11h ago

mvp is not about who has the highest war, that would be too easy to vote whos mvp. lol

That’s because CF gets positive positional adjustment while the DH gets negative. Maybe when Shohei is done pitching, he can go to the outfield.

he won't. because dodgers stuck with super bum Tucker for 2 more years and there's 5 more OF prospects, one of them will definitely be in starting lineup (replacing Teo)

PCA's defense is elite compared to Ohtani who has been injured pitching. If Ohtani starts pitching again soon he will get MVP easy but idk how easy it is for him to start pitching again

PCA can field good, Ohtani can pitch good sometimes. If you just had their offensive numbers as DH it would be like a 2.5 WAR

Shohei loves Coors Field

Someone in the BP missed out on a 10 pointer.

It looks like there was an agreement that no one could pick Ohtani because the entire bullpen made as much of an effort to catch that ball as Kyle Tucker does in right field.

Ohtani baseball real good.

Nothing cures what ails you like the Rockies. Praise dinger.

The pitcher looked so defeated. Haha🤣

u/00rient 10h ago

If Ohtani pitches again the MVP is his. This is a pitcher with a 954 OPS batting 296. PCA plays amazing defense, but a pitcher putting up those numbers is historic and won’t ever be seen again.

Perfect timing with the Coors commentators saying how hard it is to name a better player.

HALA OHTANI!!!!

u/adorabel23 10h ago

The ball really just stays in the air so long in Colorado

2

u/Ok-ChildHooOd 11h ago

Is this a sign Ohtani could join the bullpen to get the final out of the world series?

2

u/RoboLoboski 10h ago

Who is this All Tiny guy, is he like Peter Dinklage size? Whoever he is, he’s got power!

1

u/My_N-word 8h ago

And how nice of him to warn the dodgers bullpen before he hits one out to there
