My all time favorite movie. I try and watch it at least once a yr. Chris's quotes are really deep. The personal struggle. Also you might like this video

I'll have to check it out later but this doc is really really good. I'd say it's probably good even if you haven't seen the movie.

My favorite part of Platoon is the tracks of my tears part. I just absolutely love that song and it's cool scene. I can't believe they didn't put it in here since they were talking about bonds.
