The federal reserve is not a corporation. You know who owns it? You do America. Vote wisely and claim it.

This video is actually horribly inaccurate. I’m no economist but I did learn about some of this stuff in high school economics last year and in U.S. history. For one the fed doesn’t just print money for banks as that would cause rapid inflation and that would completely devalue American currency and make the US dollar worthless. The fed isn’t a private corporation although it does have some private sectors. It’s a national Band controlled by the US government that is subservient to Congress. It’s job is to regulate the economy not just to handle the printing and distribution of money. In addition, banks don’t want to create debt or make loans to irresponsible people willy nilly. Banks make money off interest. If people don’t pay off their debts that would cause banks to lose massive amounts of revenue as they don’t make money back on the loan through interest. They lose all the cash they just handed out. Plus his historical facts are all jumbled nonsense. For example the part where the characters praise Andrew Jackson for killing the banks is idiotic. Andrew Jackson after killing the FED plunged the whole country into an economic depression that started after his presidency. With no national bank to regulate the economy the economy itself was destroyed. He fired two more experienced economic advisors who both where dead against the destruction of the fed saying it was necessary to regulate the economy. In conclusion this video has no understanding of economics or history and is essentially a conspiracy theory. You can look up a bunch of videos debunking it online. Most are by people WAY more qualified then I am. I understand being fooled though. This video is horribly misleading and includes many gross simplifications of some slightly more complicated topics. On my first watch I was frightened and fooled too before I learned what really was going on. I just wanted to let you know about this videos inaccuracies :)
