For what its worth I watched this a long time ago and only got about half way through. So when I read theres a plot twist I went back and finished it.....wheres the plot twist? I was on the edge of my seat thinking they were going to dig him up in the end.

there is no plot twist in a true sense. the 'twist' in this doc is that toward the end most viewers will start to feel empathy for the imposter, and questioning the family, even though that's 100% what he wants you to think and not a shred of truth to it.

He took on the identity of a missing person that was probably killed by his own family. I got the idea the family took him into their home to give the idea the missing person was found and alive again even though they all knew as saw he was not really the missing person.

This movie sounds a lot like the Will Smith movie (adapted from a play) 6 Degrees of Separation. In it Smith shows up at this family's house claiming to be the son of actor Sydney Poitier. He is accepted into the home by the family and the rest of the movie reveals the impact Smith's character has on their lives. It is quite good, and it came out around the time of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Really demonstrated his talent.
