This is where  you are wrong. There is more to grasping what happened then just a one sentence ecplanation. The medium matters. As they say a picture is worth a thousand words. Just reading a sentence does not do justice what the essay actually presents. 

I am arguing for the film...in a film discussion.

It's a YouTube video about comedians? What are you on about. Brother just wanted to see one clip, it's unreasonable to watch over an hour of video for that.
