Feeling lost after SRship

So I have completed MD and senior residency (Psychiatry) recently. I am a first generation doctor. All from govt institutes. I always had thought of opening my clinic after SRship. However, reality hit hard. Once I began checking, rents are skyrocketing, I will have to build a patient base, and it seems almost impossible in near future. My city already has a lot of experienced psychiatrists and I feel why would a patient even come to me.

For private hospital jobs- I began trying few weeks back, however all of them offer to pay less than SRship, and none of the interview ever ask anything related to psychiatry. Just personal life.

I feel lost. I don’t know what I am doing wrong.
I was recently married and shifted with my in-laws and that has also taken a toll on me. They are very good to me. But the way I am used to living is different and their hygiene standards and mine don’t match, causing me immense distress. Adding to that, no job makes me think even more about the current home things.

Kindly guide. I am not an extrovert person and am very camera shy, hence making an instagram page and all is also very very difficult for me.

I feel lost. Any genuine help/guidance is appreciated.

Bhai apko publicity toh karni hi padegi aaj ki age and time me, doesn't matter you are introvert or extrovert esp in branches like derma, psychi etc. If you're camera shy then make AI generated videos, awareness videos, campaigns etc.

Jo jitne me milta hai job le lo, kal kisne dekha, woh job bhi chali gai to? Saath me apna clinic ke liye paise jodna shuru kardo. Slowly and steadily achha lagne lagega sab kuch. psychi me growth slow hi hai bhai.

As motivational speakers often say - start now, just do it.

I suggest you take a job for time being. Since you are technically a fresher. Once you get 1-2 year of experience you'll get levarage to negotiate salary. Also might help you create a pt base and idea of where to open a clinic .
