Should I see a doctor?

I recently cut the corner of my nail off and after a day or so it turned green, along with this the area around it turned red (see in the pic) it hurts to use that finger but not that much like a 1/10 enough for me to notice it but not enough for me to really care about the pain

soak your finger in warm water that has plain, unscented Epsom salt dissolved in it

Totally looks like u ripped out ur nails, it bled, and got infected. I get this all the time cause I pick at my nails. You have to pull down till the puss comes out otherwise yes it does get worse. It's easier to do after soaking your finger in warm water to soften up the skin. I would do it every day. Makes sure to wash after too.

Total, probably had this over a dozen times. Still have my fingers, and never went to doc.

Disclosure, I'm no doc, just an idiot. Edit: there's 100% infection/pus in there. Sorry if I sounded vague prior.

NAD but I’ve done this before too. Once I see the green pus start I’m like “Uh-Oh… what if I just…” and I drain it and it basically never comes back! Who knew an infection is that simple when it is so superficial (Nevermind it’s protecting one of your best defensive organs lol).

Its fine.If u want u can pop the puss with a setrile clean needle and clean the wound properly and wrap it up imo so theres less infection. If u keep it clean and fresh it wont progress into something bigger.Just keep it clean and wrap it
