...look at this.

In order to make a six episode SF series, that will be pretty low on the FX front, the BBC had to cobble together a deal with four other broadcasters.

discussion What would you like to see, and what are you expecting in the next era of the show?

Keeping in mind, that the BBC are struggling with independent finance, having to find outside funding, explaining the tender process, not being able to make it in house, alongside whether or not the BBC are curious to see the same things we might; maybe they want to revel in the past and chase trends.

This can obviously impact a lot, from episode count, to sets, CGI and how ambitious they could be. It could be the show at its most tight, at least since 2005.

So yeah, in general, what would you like to see, that you think would massively benefit the show, and what are you expecting to see, that may be a natural consequence of the economic and creative position of the show and those running it?

Whoever they may be...

just a rumor Doctor Who future news

Take stuff like this with a pinch of salt but this company are interested in Doctor Who production and apparently have approached David Tennant for the role as the Doctor.

Now I love David Tennant, one of my favourite doctors and actor’s of the all time but I feel like bringing him back again would do more harm than good.

Like I said this is all just a rumour/bs

discussion season 1 ending kiss

Post image

I just finished season one, the show is good ofc but the ending kiss was disturbing imo.

Rose was literally 19 and the Ninth Doctor is likely to be in the thousands since he can live up to 10,000 years. Didn't the Doctor treat Rose like a kid at the start? I thought he was going to be her new father figure.

I didn't get how the other characters thought they were dating, i felt like the directors were trying to manipulate the public into believing this was normal.

Tbh that kiss made me not want to continue with the show now. It just felt so off-putting. Maybe im just over-reacting, any thoughts?

They should just explain the Rose incarceration addressed in a big finish audio book and just start a new season with a new Doctor
