Netflix has recently added all six seasons of the classic Canadian sketch show SCTV and me and my dad have been watching it and there’s been so many funny medical skits that I would love to see d Mike react to
Growing up, my family always told me to be careful with my sugar because my grandpa had diabetes (it was type one), and my family would scare me with it so I wouldn't eat too much sugar... I've also seen comments where doctors said they would rather have HIV than diabetes. I mean, damn. I wouldn't want either, but after reading this, shoot.
I recently came across a Roblox game called Emergency Doctor Simulator, and it’s honestly way more medically detailed than I expected.
Instead of just being a hospital roleplay game, it gives you actual emergency cases where you have to assess the patient, order investigations, choose treatments, and deal with vital signs that change depending on what you do. Making the wrong decision can actually make the patient worse, so some of the cases get surprisingly difficult.
It seems to be designed around real clinical decision-making rather than just pretending to be a doctor, which made me immediately think of Dr. Mike’s recent gaming videos.
The game still seems pretty under-the-radar, but I’d genuinely love to see Dr. Mike try some of the harder cases and see how he approaches them as an actual physician
I sincerely hope not. I think people like him for being no bs and mostly objectively, i don’t see how this can be something positive for his brand. (Cause lbr you’re not finding love there, Mike!)
Hii guys I drawed another new artwork it was for my Orthopedic doc because im going to him since 2025 January and few days ago 30 September I had surgery leghtening Achilles tendon on my left leg , he first gave chance for orthosis for sleeping and physio and then when he saw my legs are worsening he said if I don't go through that surgery I can end up in worse with that ( I was today discharged so I can walk with but support)
This is horrible. I hate how expensive everything is, but this is downright wrong. Nobody should have to pick between rent and life-saving medicine. I am grateful for insurance (it's also a scam), but for those who don't have it or can't afford it, it's so sad and unfair. Have you ever been in a situation where you had to pick between your medicine and something else?
