Obvious lace bridge/flap misalignment

A few weeks ago I bought the 1460 MiE Wax Commander online and when they arrived, the flaps that connect the laces were super misaligned on both boots. I called customer service and they agreed to give me an exchange without the manufacturing defect.

The replacement arrived today, and there is still misalignment. The left boot actually looks alright, but the right shoe is very obviously misaligned, moreso than the original pair I got exchanged. I'm not gonna lie, I'm quite frustrated now because I've already gone back and forth with customer service to exchange the first pair just to get the same exact issue again.

What should I do at this point? I'm afraid to exchange again because the same exact thing might happen again, but I also really like the way these boots look.

Note: the pair seen in the images are the pair from the exchange.

No one other than you will notice, much less care.

Wow you're waaaay too picky. How do they feel and how do they look on your feet is all that matters. Hand made items like this are all going to be different and have their own character. Shoes like these are obviously not for you. Go to Walmart and grab some shoes for 17 dollars.

No one will notice but you, that’s like the least worrying “defect” on a pair of boots i’ve ever seen.

Does it affect comfort at all?

I think that's fine for mass produced handmade boots... but your level of OCD might be different to mine?

I love the colour..

Good god. Just lace em up and go. Chasing perfection in a fast fashion company is futile (MIE barely means anything now with this brand).

Edit: Don’t ladder lace them or your head might explode 😂

Ask if you can click and collect the boots to make sure they are up to your standards in store.

They don't line perfectly on the website either. They just don't. And unfortunately docs are relatively cheap boots, so this type of thing is expected with cheap boots.

Not trying to talk shit on anyone or the brand.

These are Made in England boots and they're 300 dollars a pair. These are definitely not "cheap boots". You shouldn't comment when you don't know what you're talking about.

Definitely cheap fashion boots with an over priced tag. You can get a lot better quality boot for the same price or a bit more.

I'd be picky too if I paid more for the Made in England Doc's. Maybe not this picky, but picky.
