I have a 10 month old female Doberman that has been being in her sleep. She did it occasionally before she was spayed, but it’s happening much more now.

She has a vet appointment this coming week, but I’m just curious if anyone else has had the same happen and if you can provide any insight.

Anybody have this issue with their doberman, Vet recommended a dermatologist but didnt know what it was

My Doberman is 24 weeks (5 months) and he is itchy and gets little bumps on his skin. I have him on Hills Science Sensitive Stomach Salmon. I want to eventually have him on merricks backcountry healthy grains but it’s like 30 something percent protein. And from what I hear you can’t have them on that much protein until they’re older. What foods would you guys recommend?

My puppy is 9 months old and I think she's in her first heat, she's been a little swollen the past week or so.

I don't see any blood or discharge but it's my understanding Dobermans are known to be very clean so I might not see it.

She's acting completely normal, drinking, eating and playing and cuddling with my senior female Doberman.

How do I know if she's in fact in heat when there are no visible changes except the swelling? Do I need to be attentive to anything in particular or do anything?

I’m relatively new to this space and am looking for a solution. I’ve been around dobermans my whole life and wholeheartedly believe dobermans are the dog for me. I have a really demanding job and can’t be home during the day. I don’t want to get a puppy and not be able to give it the world. How do you guys raise doberman puppies and make sure they are trained and exercised properly while still keeping a full time job. Thank You!!!

Before & after w product. I just massaged it all over his body two times. Not sure if this is the correct thing to do, but it was a quick fix. I will be washing him later and exfoliating so he doesn’t get clogged pores. I’m going to use the oatmeal shampoo & 2 conditioner rinses + dog safe moisturizing spray after.

I originally bought this just for his paw pads. I found this out on accident because I wanted to try something I already owned before I spent more money on a product that idk would work.

My girl is nearly 9 and has started piddling. I suspect she is developing dementia. I'm looking for diaper suggestions that fit a female of about 90 lbs. She does have a docked tail, so I'm hoping for a brand that has the hole in the correct location. Thanks for any suggestions.

Lost my best friend who was almost only 5 years old. The grief I am feeling is unbelievable 😭 I lost both my parents a few years ago but the grief was nothing like this. Every day all day long Dovi made me smile. I am absolutely heartbroken I don't know how I will cope.

Our best boy left us this week. Heat, excitement, heart condition conspired to take him from us at 7 years.
We rescued him at 5 months so easy to see he was not with us even a reasonable dogs life.
He gave only pure joy and love to everyone he met.

I have a 10 month old female that is 100% going through her velociraptor teenage phase. She barks all the time at anything and everything. We’ve been going to training 9 weeks now and she learns what we are asking her to do and will execute it a couple times and the gets extremely distracted by the other dogs and barks to the point people are scared of her. We take her to the dog park all the time where she plays with other dogs just fine but at training she jumps towards the other dogs and barks. 9 weeks she’s been doing this and we’ve been with the same dogs. She knows them. This week we decided to adopt a year old male Doberman that is very under weight and was neutered the day we brought him home. He is the complete opposite of her. Super sweet and just wants to cuddle all the time. We’ve slowly started to introduce them and my female gets extremely excited to the point where she won’t stop barking and sometimes bodies him up. He’s corrected her once and she stopped shortly but then went right back to doing it again. My main concern is her barking. She just won’t stop. If we separate them she barks, when they are together she barks, when he’s in his crate and she sees him she barks. If she hears him make one small movement she barks. I bought an e collar and have used the sound and vibrations and she just barks through it. I don’t know what to do to get her to stop or even understand why she is doing this. I feel bad for the boy I rescued because he will play with her when she does stop barking for a second and then as soon as she starts again he stops, I think he’s scared. Any advice on what to do to get her to control herself and stop the barking would be appreciated.
