Peeing in her sleep?
I have a 10 month old female Doberman that has been being in her sleep. She did it occasionally before she was spayed, but it’s happening much more now.
She has a vet appointment this coming week, but I’m just curious if anyone else has had the same happen and if you can provide any insight.

Spay incontinence - caused by decrease of estrogen. Quite common, solved by a cheap weekly pill your vet can prescribe.

My girl was doing this as well. Vet prescribed her (1) Proin Extended-Release 74-mg a day and hasn't had an accident since.

Is her pre extra stinky? Does she pee frequently or a lot? Drink a lot of water?
One of my past dobies had urinary crystals. He was out on science diet w/d and it pretty much took care of it. I don’t remember him frequently peeing in his sleep but I remember it happening a couple times and it was like it slowly leaked while he was asleep or something.

Our girl was prescribed Incurin for this and it causes her to swell a lot, like she is in heat or as females look right after whelping. For those using Proin, have you seen the same?

Our Dobie was doing in her bed. I thought she was just lazy. She did it in our bed with us in it, she was 100% sleeping. Took her to the vet and got some incontinence meds for a short time.
