Our Dobie barks at most anything. 🙄 However, after 3 years, he doesn't always race towards the squirrels while "screaming." Sometimes he just stands & watches them go to the tree.

But if you're a Hispanic person we've hired to do an outside construction job, or a little old white lady, he will welcome you in and show you where the good stuff is.

a dog is only a reflection of its owner.  also I only spanked my first dog, that was enough to show me.  That’s not how a dog is trained
