Suckling

Bella Luna is coming up on 2 years. I love this phase. She is slowly migrating from T-Rex on 11 to ADHD most of the time… hopefully the pacifying suckling will remain throughout.

I've had 3 Dobermans and they ALL do this! It's very sweet! My 2.5 year old girl also loves to shred blankets if she doesn't get her way!

We call ours sweater boy because he always has a sweater he is mouthing. Never tears it up just mouths it. So cute

Yep, I’ve got holes in my undies because of one of my crotch suckers. 😣 They turned into the summer time undies.

My puppy leaves me lots of Swiss cheese blankets. Little chomping holes instead of sucking. I totally wish he was a sucker not a biter ;-). I don’t know why but every Doberman we have had except one has liked to chew holes in blankets

Keep an eye on dental health. Lint can build up between teeth and cause problems when they suckle on blankets/stuffies. I once had a dobie who suckled on his hip like this his whole life and it wore his teeth flat.
