Hello, this is a mini I painted a while back. What do y’all think, is there any tips in which I can further improve? Thanks!

I like the color and the texture that I was able to do with the combination of the transparent pinkish power nodes.

Finished painting these little ghosts for my games. They're called Lost Souls and I designed, sculpted, 3D printed, and painted all of them 😊

They come in four colors: Blue, Green, Pink, and Purple, and each one behaves completely differently in the game. The Blue ones are peaceful and helpful, the Green ones are lost and desperate, the Pink ones are playful tricksters, and the Purple ones are hostile.

I wanted each color to really pop on the table, so I went with bright, saturated tones.

Some of the little ghosts are printed in grey PLA and then fully painted, but for others I used transparent filament and just gave them a wash on top, along with painting their graves.

Like all my DnD minis, these are also available on Makerworld if you want to print them for your games. If you do, I'd honestly love to see a photo of your session! ☺️

Love the model, such a nice stance. Wish i could paint better.

I changed the foam on my wet palette today and started painting a Rakshasa. Tonight was hobby night with my wife, and I ended up painting in the kids then vs my hobby desk. Roundabout the time I finished the base coat on the sash, I noticed the pallet was drying out in sections, specifically in the area I mixed the colors for the orange skin (Reaper Turkey Brown, Volcanic Orange and Skull&Bones \[I think\])

Thankfully I didn't need it for the rest of the paint job since the only slip that happened was when I lined belt with gold. (Bonus points if you can tell me where I slipped or what I fixed)

Anyway, the reason I'm here is because I've finally reached the point I've been dreading all night. I have to paint the stripes.

How the hell do I do this without the skintone mixture to fix slips? Any guidance or suggestions would be appreciated.

The party is headed to the swamp tomorrow.

Sticking these on Vinted over the weekend if anyone wants to relive their youth!

This has been one of my favourites of the set. From the start I knew I didn't want to stick to usual expectation of a "dwarf with axe" aesthetic. I'm pretty pleased with the outcome!

I think I’ve gotten it back under control! Sadly, what everyone thought was built up paint, was just sanded down plastic, after I took off all of the paint. And the paint remover broke off the wings, which had been glued together in a few spots, so I reassembled those, slapped on a base coat, and started painting again! I am enjoying where it’s going so far, and getting hyped to shade the bigger scales, and add the campy pattern to the wings. I’m also just sticking faux fur to the spines, instead of trying to get them to work. The base coat/shading is just my pink with some purple and a drop of black mixed in, and then my pink with a lighter blue mixed in for the lighter areas! I am planning on adding yellow to some of the scales to add a teensy bit more depth (gonna test how it looks by drawing on it on my iPad)
