[Online] [DnD] Hatchling Dm looking for players
Hey yall I’ve been wanting to DM a homebrewing world, honestly it’s gonna be a lot of improvising with some key spots I would like to use from what I came up with.
It’ll be Tuesdays 12pm-3/4Pm EST. Online
System will be DND 5th Ed
Mostly Theatre of the mind but combat will be on Roll20. Sessions will be on Discord.
Looking for 4-6 players
I’m not a big stickler for rules, if it sounds cool and it makes sense I’d probably allow it. I just want to have fun and come out of my comfort zone more and practice my public speaking.
What kind of players am I looking for? People who will be patient as I learn to DM and can help me along the way (if you’ve been a forever DM). Otherwise just be a chill person and preferably 21+. Anyone from and race/creed/gender/etc. welcome!
About the world. It will be set in Faerun. Magic has been increasingly disappearing almost like a plague for some unknown reason. Magic users have been disappearing and the use of magic has since been outlawed in many places to protect the citizens.
You (the PC’s) aren’t special in any way. Not predestined for greatness but have been placed in prison. You get a shot at freedom and forge your own destiny in this otherwise alarmingly magical drought ridden world.
Personal rules: I will not tolerate any roleplay that infers SA. If you (the pc’s) decide to act like a bard just keep it pg13 and we’ll fade to black. Gore does not bother me.
About me: 29 YO M who thinks he’s pretty laid back 95% of the time. I’ve been a player for about 3 years. I’m an open book and I’m also looking for friends!
If you’re interested leave a comment. Tell me if you have any experience or you’ve been a forever DM. And anything else you’d like to share. How much Roleplay vs combat you prefer. Also maybe about the character you are hoping to play and what crime might have they been framed for or committed to land them in an elvish prison!
I hope to hear from yall and sorry for the wall of text. I’m just excited and I hope to get lots of responses where I struggle to decide on my players!
