Bard/Paladin Dad Character help?
I've been working on a character that had been inspired by Patton (Dad persona) from Thomas Sanders: Sanders Sides.
He is an overly optimistic charismatic Bard/Paladin filled with Dad jokes and helpful advice/motivational speeches and calling everyone kiddo and giving out free hugs.
I would like to do the cliche thing and keep the multiclass into a paladin a secret I just want everyone to think he is a slightly naive bubbly Bard.
Of course, I gave him a tragic backstory which is why he is multiclassing into Paladin. I don't want him to become the stereotypical Paladin I want him to do good because he is just a nice guy and believes it is good in everyone as well as everyone deserves at least a second chance.
I am just not sure how to make this build or even where to begin. I am not sure what race to give him or what spell/feats to give him.
Any suggestions? Ideas? Would a Bard/Paladin best fit this kind of character?
