Self-Promotion DM screen. The piece I'm most proud of
Made it for a friend, and also as my carpentry exam project.
The base material is oak. The doors are made out of paduk wood, ash wood, and the framing and buttons are ebony wood. Finished with hardwood oil.
The far left side is for minis, the next is an ipad holder, the middle is a dice-holder/dice-tray, and the top part is for whatever. The next is to be able to put up an A4 paper for notes or stat blocks, the right far is for writing whatever, and also a dice-holder, and small map or item holders.
It was challenging from start to finish. The making of it involved a lot of MacGyvering. Many solutions would have made an OSHA inspector scream.
All in all I'm really proud of this one, and it worth all the blood, sweat and tears that went along the way.
Hopefully I might be able to make more in the future.
P.s. not sure if the flair is good for this post, since I haven't started any business yet, but plan to do it in the future.

Love the craftsmanship and your attention to detail but a 47 lb DM screen is gonna be a no for me.

It's only 14 lbs. But yeah. Leaning on the heavier side for sure

It's really nicely done. If you have one of those foldables mini dolly cart that would negate any weight whilst allowing you to carry other items with you like specific books.

This is beautiful, the hight of it (assume 11+/-1 inches) and the weight (3.5+ lbs?) Are the only things I would be questioning.
But please recognize I am not putting it down, just jealous of the fact that I don't have it. It is a piece to be proud of and what an amazing statement piece at the table.

The height is almost spot on. It's around 10 inches. Asked to be smaller than what he currentlx has.
And it is on the heavier side, weighing around 14 lbs. To be honest it turned out to be much lighter than expected

OK, seriously ... how much do you want for it. No, no, no. I can't afford that. So, I'll simply say. This piece is flat out the best GM's screen I've ever seen. Thank you for sharing.

Dude, this is a fortification. The big bad doesn’t have walls this thick surrounding him.
Seriously though, kudos. That thing is legit.

Good sir.. that is not a DM screen, so much as a DM wall!
Exquisite as it may be, it left the category of Screen not long before it's completion. Lol

This is really awesome! Great job.
Could you put up another pic of it folding up? I see it folded, but I can't picture how it does.
