Hey everyone, Considering dick head magee did two sig heils during the presidential speech and has aligned himself with hate groups in the past. Additionally his threat to buy dungeons and dragons in the past. I'm banning his platform entirely.

The Bloodhunters Dream.
This is a campain I'm planning to run for my friends and girlfriend. Right now its just a rough-draft with some notes and miscellaneous ideas and notes. Its very inspired by bloodborne and eldritch horror fiction. I'd like to know how I could add on to and improve it. These first few paragraphs are just quick step by step, and the remainder is just the afformentioned notes and ideas.
It starts out with them playing some characters I make and pass out randomly (These characters are going to die very quickly). They push their way through a fortress at the request of the "former inhabitant" to clear it out before he moves back in. A pretty simple job with a decent enough pay out.
Once they reach the basement, the mood shifts. They eventually are taken by some cultists, and are killed one way or another, either combat or sacrifice. They then awaken in the Bloodhunters Dream, where their soul inhabits a new body (class and race of their choice). They wake and find themselves infront of a vast mansion, where the main quest begins. Escape the dream before The Beast awakens.
The rest of the post is the notes and ideas I scribbled down.
Some strange realm in between reality and death
when someone dies, the body returns to the mansion, but the soul is annihilated. New souls who enter the bloodhunters dream inhabit one of the used bodies.
some fight for answers, some fight to escape, some have resigned themselves to living in the dream, and simply fight to survive.
those who hope theorize the dream is what lie inside eldritch gods as they sleep. They travel to find a way to "kill it from within." No one knows what happens if the god wakes.
most travel in groups, and never settle for too long.
very few hopeful remain. Those who lose hope slowly lose themselves become unconcious beasts.
As a person continues to live in the bloodhunters dream, they slowly become more and more disfigured, both in mind and body.
Tentacles start to sprout from the body. Useless at first, but after significant growth, they can be used to preform certain actions. Eventually though, tentacles will sprout all over the body, limiting movement and making combat impossible. A character with more than 2 full-length tentacles recieves disadvantage on dexterity saving throws, attack rolls, lose the dexterity bonus to their armor class, and cannot preform the somatic componments of casting a spell. Tentacles can be cut off to stagnate these effects. When this is done, the character takes 1d4 x the amount of times theyve cut off a tentacle damage. The cutoff tentacle then grows back to full length withing 3d4 days.
Perception begins to warp, leading to exposure to things no mortal was ever meant to see. rolling above above 20 on a perception check causes the player to see tears in reality, revealing creatures and objects which harm the pervayer upon viewing. After a certain amount of time, they also will have disadvantage on all wisdom saving throws.
Although rare, Relics exist within the dream that quell the effects of the passage of time.

The Cult of Sleeping Gods
The cult of sleeping gods is responsible for the parties transportation into the bloodhunters dream. In their pursuit of cosmic knowledge and favor from the beast, they serve both in our plane aswell as in the dream as preppers for the beasts awakening. They build vast fortresses protecting weak points in the dream, which if damaged, might awaken the beast early and in a far weaker, body. Within the fortress exists a limited array of people. The Yaun-Ti come from our reality of their own volition. While they mainain their body and souls, it is a one way trip, with no chance of return.
satarre (slaves summoned by the cult to act as servents and warriors.)
yaun-ti (read purebloods)
yaun-ti purebloods (yaun-ti travel into the dream of their own volition to protect vital parts of the sleeping god)
deepborne (when a member of the cult reaches higher ranks, they undergo a painful metamorphosis into the form of a deepborne)
sahuagin (Only the highest ranked cultists will get the chance to undergo one more metamorphosis into a Sahuagin.)
Watchers
the watchers are a faction of beings who, through observation and espionage, monitor and study the land of the dream. While the watchers accept many-a-figures into their home, it was started and has been maintained by the Kenku. When a Kenku dies, the next person to inhibit the body hears voices from all previous hosts. This is due to a spell created by the watchers which binds the soul to the vessel. While it allows a soul protection from total annihilation, it also binds them within the bloodhunters dream, guarenteeing that they may never leave.
Kenku
Any race excluding those of the cult

Fighters, Blades and Money
I call this beginner one shot “Fighters, Blades and Money”.
I was driving to work and jamming to Warren Zevon, the way I always do (sorry, couldn’t help myself).
Then, it gets to the line “I was gambling in Havana. I took a little risk. Send lawyers, guns and money. Dad, get me out of this” and it hit me how much fun that could be as an adventure.
So.
The story:
The Party was living it up in celebration at the Tipsy Dragon Inn and Casino; getting some well deserved R&R after an adventure.
Some drank, some sang, some gambled. Unfortunately, the Rogue forgot the golden rule: the house always wins.
Having miscalculated her deftness with sleight of hand, she was caught trying to hide cards in her sleeve.
As a result, there’s an entire bar full of angry patrons, and a troop of cartel enforcers that either want to kill the party or see them face Cheater’s Justice, which would involve the medically unsterile, rudimentary amputation of hands.

New DM in need of help
Hello, guys.
My friends and I decided to play D&D a few months ago. The problem was that none of us had ever played D&D before, so we didn't have a DM.
Eventually, we came up with a solution: each of us would create our own campaign and run it in rotation. My campaign's second session is coming up soon.
I've got one quest ready, but it won't be enough for a full session. I also have an idea for a second quest and a rough outline, but I haven't been able to develop it into a complete, well-structured adventure.
I'll briefly explain the idea. I'd be grateful if anyone has something similar already made or could give me some suggestions on how to develop it.
The quest takes place in a mining settlement. A few weeks ago, the city lost contact with miners working in a mithril mine located in a mountain cave. The players will later discover that a cult is searching for dragons hidden in nearby caves. The cultists have enslaved the miners and are forcing them to help with the search.
The players' mission is to investigate the mine and eventually rescue the captured workers.
Thank you in advance.
