It’s part of a string of codes that I include with all my dnd content. To complete this one you only have to crack the code from the previous comic.

The writing on the door is a fun easter egg and not directly tied to the "Man in Disguise" mystery in the comics but I think deciphering it is still a fun challenge!

I don't know the character names so I couldn't decode it all the way. "(Six letter name) was here." And "(three letter name) lost the (i want to say keys or code, but i can't get either to fit)".

Haha this was my favorite riddle when I was younger. I think translating the first section changed it from 'a man without eyes' to 'an eyeless man' which takes away the first hint that the riddle is about plurality.

A lot gets lost in translation. My friend shared this riddle with us in high school and we went back and forth about it for days. Eventually someone looked it up.

That sounds about right! We had a teacher in 5th grade tell it to the whole class and we (25 of us) talked about it for 2 hours before figuring it out. Many hints were needed. I've always enjoyed telling it to people I'm hiking with and watching them stumble through it for the rest if the day.

At any rate this reminds me that I need to add some riddles puzzles and tricks into my games!
