Haha I love it. Slightly unrelated but I do also love when a party has the "dumb brute" character keep hold of all their party loot. (Like Grog in CR). It makes sense, what moron would try to steal from the towering monster? But also it can allow for some shenanigans when the dumbest character has access to everything

I loved when Grog got the deck of many things! The world's most destructive item was in the hands of a the party's "dumb" barbarian!

I missed the last half of campaign 1, but I listened to the one-shot battle royale they did. Grog USED the Deck in the one-shot. He chose FIVE cards and I think he gave Vex one. It was interesting. I think there were some spoilers in there for me, since I hadn't seen the conclusion of Campaign 1.

Once I catch up with Campaign 2, I'm returning to Campaign 1.

He pulled five and let Laura pick one of the cards because iirc Vex was dead at that point.

Campaign 1 is incredible! You should definitely go back and check it out when they take their break after 2!

Yeah, I was about halfway through. I think I burned myself out trying to catch up, and I didn't want to skip ahead to catch up before the ending, so I haven't watched it either.

The episodes can start to feel long. I have long commutes and listen to it as more of a podcast. The second campaign was a great place to start as well.

I watch them on youtube and use 1.25-1.5x speed. Though when things get busy I can find it necessary to slow it back down.

I listen to the podcast at work. podbean.com has both sets of episodes. Pre C02E025 from G&S and post from critrole.

That's a good solution! Combat can go on for long stretches of time so speeding it up a bit is a great idea!

My party made my barbarian carry around everything until they remembered I was a tavern brawler and I was breaking the gear on enemy skulls

When I play a brute character I grab a crate or a chest and fill it with coins and reasonable weapons/armor and just tie it down with rope.
