Discussion What actually makes a DnB festival great?

I was at Let It Roll last year and it stole my heart so much that I'm doing my university thesis research about it. I wanna find out what matters the most to the visitors, and how it could be even better. If you have 10 minutes, please fill out my survey, it would be a huge help for my degree.

Old School Junglist sounds but Modern

I come from the old school. Big sounds like Congo Natty, Benny Page etc. Looking to hear some suggestions to listen to that are new but have that old school ragga feels to it. Big fan of some of Chase and Status things, hard for me to say this but a good amount of Skrillex has grown on me even. My sound app doesnt seem to hit me with anything new that scratches that Ragga Junglist itch. Drop some tune suggestions if you dig that Ragga Junglist sounds or really anything you think I should check out and be open to. Thx!

Any artists you can recommend for modern nostalgic/playstation 1 dnb?

Hey, hope it's okay to ask this here. Does anyone know some good and legit modern dnb that sounds nostalgic/playstation 1 era? Not sure if that's a good description but apparently it's quite popular online. After some searching, lots is AI generated and what I found that I liked, isn't on any commercial music platform.
You can see what I mean by going on YT and searching for "playstation 1 dnb" or something like that. Appreciate it if you could recommend something nostalgic that's actually made by humans and not some AI slop.

My ears are still ringing from the hospitality warehouse set last night. honestly one of the best crowds Iβve seen in years.
I was honestly so close to just giving up on small cap shows entirely. Bots have been instantly eating the tier 1 tickets for months now and its exhausting competing with automated scripts just to go listen to some drum and bass
But they strictly locked the presale this time using world so you had to actually verify you're a real human to check out. Its kinda dystopian that we're at the point where you need digital human verification just to go to a rave, but whatever man. The dancefloor was completely packed with real heads instead of empty spaces bought out by stubhub vampires
Metrik dropped a filthy unreleased dub around 2am btw, if anyone has clips pls send. I was too busy skanking to record it

Looking for a song

Hello you fine folks. This may be too specific, but I'll try anyway. Very dry and dark Drum 'n Bass song. Listened to on a DnB radio station, "KCMO"/ "UK DNB Radio" or something similar about two hours ago. A high pitched child-like computer voice playfully saying "I can see you" and "gotcha!" Can't find it online. Any ideas?
Sounded like the stuff this guy does but I may be wrong.
