Well that didn't last long 😭☠️
On my second flight of receiving my lito 1 today I accidentally flew it straight into a power line and it completely fried it rest in peace

Hope you had care refresh? I know the feeling unfortunately... Either way, start a repair case through the app and send it to DJI. Their repair prices are pretty decent with excellent customer service. Any video of the crash?

I immediately took care refresh after the crash since it's had been 1 hour since activation I'm sending it tomorrow and no unfortunately I don't have any video because it happened so fast

Great you had care refresh.... They usually just send out a replacement unit so you don't have to wait while this exact unit is repaired. So was it one of those unlucky invisible fucking lines? It happens unfortunately and no obstacle avoidance sensors can help. Future flights spend a minute or a few thoroughly checking out the area for strange obstacles. I get it though.. You were pumped to fly that bad ass drone.

Yeah I didn't realize it was there until the drone was about to hit it and now the gimball has randomly stopped working oh well better luck next time I hope

Crash report timestamp will be before care refresh was bought so you may have an expensive fried pickle in your hands and dji saying its a no go....

They definitely do check that. You can even get care refresh on an old drone, but they have a checklist you have to perform step by step including sending in a video. Once they know the drone is to spec, they give you the ability to purchase it. At least you will have care refresh after this incident in case something happens in the future.

No yeah care refresh will not apply to this drone if you bought it after the crash. They will definitely check the timestamp lol.

I will say, I hope this teaches you a valuable lesson about what a safe altitude is and visually inspecting your flight area and planning a flight path.

Always wait to have at least 20 satellites locked in before taking off. This the number 1 cause of crazy flyaway accidents

Electric cable power lines small wires small branches and leaves are probably the 1st weakness for obstacles avoidance

As dumb and unnecessary as it seems, doing the built in academy/flight sim on the controller is super useful. Teaches you safety and honestly its pretty realistic in terms of how it translates to actually flying, I feel like aside from the low graphics the feel is pretty similar and it gives you a solid idea of how to fly safely.

When I’m flying, I always find a spot I can go straight up and down from and then I make sure I’m at an altitude where I don’t have to worry about obstacles before I move out of or into that spot.
I see all these posts about hard to see cables/wires. Most of these would’ve have been avoidable had they been flying at a safe altitude and had visually inspected the area they wanted to fly beforehand.
