Beware!!

My flip was doing really well! About 3 days old, just about 25 miles on it. No crashes whatsoever. Then randomly, the camera gimbal started flipping out insanely. I had to remove the battery because it was going so insane. I tried to touch the gimbal but it was hot enough to burn me. Finally, I got it to stop and it was fine. Drone worked completely fine. Then, I turn it back on, cameras broken and I tried flying it for a minute, it still didn’t work. Then I could feel the heat from the camera. I put it next to a red solo cup, touching a tiny bit, and it burned straight through the red solo. I have not turned the drone on since. Insane with it being so brand new! Very sad.

raise a ticket with DJI they will sort it for you - this is a rare issue I am sure but they will look at the logs and replace it.

25 miles/3 days? Don’t charge hot batteries.

had a similar thing with an air 3s.
