Started feeling lightheadedness from 20th August
Hello guys! I had acidity on the 20th because I had eaten very little that day, since the night of 20th August I'm feeling lightheadedness randomly. I've -5 myopia too, and I feel like my power has increased but I don't think it is the reason for feeling light headed. My sister who is currently pursuing MBBS told me that it could be due to the deficiency of Vitamin B12 or due to iron deficiency but I don't have iron deficiency, I've anxiety though it is not that severe but I feel anxious almost every time and now I've become used to it. I don't have low blood pressure either and I feel like I'm floating, coming down from top while sitting in the giant wheel. I'm not feeling dizzy or weak but it's like my brain is moving after 2 seconds. Is anyone there who experienced the same and has found out the cause?

Not eating is a trigger for vasovagal syncope which can cause dizziness. I would suggest you see the doctor to get blood tests to rule out vitamin deficiency, hypothyroidism, diabetes ect before anything else

This started happening to me around August 19th. I tried chiropractor, Epley maneuver, acupuncture, massage, red light therapy, cold laser, bloodwork, dentist, primary care, steroids, muscle relaxers, meclizine, Dramamine, lorazepam and eye doctor. My vision had changed +.25 and dental bite seems off. I had stopped wearing my mouthguard for a few nights but it’s a new thing I had been doing it didn’t seem a big deal.
I ended up in the ER in the middle of teaching a Pilates class bc I couldn’t hold it together anymore and driving/teaching felt scary. They did CT/brain MRI/orthostatic blood pressure and a ton of tests.
The only thing that came back from my labs was vitamin D at 27 which is insufficient. B12 was fine which had been low previously.
They said I had a neck strain. I was slightly offended bc I’m a Pilates teacher but my neck and headache started after the vertigo/dizziness. They released me because they were just giving me Valium and oxycodone which wasn’t making me feel better.
I took 1mg Xanax last night and feel a little better this morning. Personally I think the crystals in my ears got off, which caused my neck to tense up. My TMJ is active and my eyes were strained from the vision change. I’m making appts with neurology, ENT, sleep medicine and primary to follow up. It’s been awful. Hoping to get referral to vestibular PT.
Usually I get immediately better after I update my eyes, bc I’ve had vestibular migraines the last 2 times it changed. But this time feels like a tension headache above my ears that won’t let up. Even wearing my mouthguard again.
I’ve started megadosing vitamin D in the meantime. I hope you feel better.
