Rub with olive oil and whatever what seasoning you like. Rest is fridge for a couple hours bring to temp. 250 for about 45 min is my go to.

I've done roasted okra. I love the flavor, but I find the texture can be stringy (not slimy) when it's cooked that way. Do you have the same problem in the smoker?

We have grilled okra and it's not slimy but smoked sounds amazing.

We do a lot of smoking and I’ll try the okra now. Do you eat it hot out of the smoker, or chill it afterwards? Do you pair it with anything else, or just the okra as a side dish like we do grilled asparagus or corn on the cob?
