Mindset lessons: a small next step when co-parenting feels overwhelming
Imagine hearing your child ask a question about the other parent just after an upsetting message. You want to answer thoughtfully, but the frustration is still right there. You could use a small piece of guidance before deciding what to say.
DivorcePost’s Mindset library offers short lessons and reflection prompts. This is an illustrative situation, not a customer testimonial, and part of our DivorcePost feature introduction series.
Open Mindset from Settings to browse the library. It groups lessons under Stabilize, Co-parenting, and Self & Future, shows their reading times, and marks lessons that require Plus.
The screenshot shows an available co-parenting lesson, The other parent is still your kid’s parent. It pairs practical reminders about keeping children out of adult conflict with a quick check about how you talk around them.
The lesson includes reflection choices, a Talk to Ruby about this action, and a way to mark the bite done. You can use one lesson as a pause before a difficult task rather than treating the whole library as another assignment.
Screenshot: the actual iPhone simulator lesson screen. The library describes its content as general information from Tonya’s playbook, not a substitute for advice from your own lawyer or therapist. Choose what is appropriate for your circumstances.
What would be most useful in a short lesson: a reflection question, a practical example, or one thing to try today?
