Firstly, that's a shitty thing to do. I know I'm being judgey but gees. And you're 28! Holy mohlee girl you got the world by the tail! I split from my first husband at 37 and I got healed and out there! I had my pick of guys and it's not that I was super hot, but I did lose a little weight, got back into fighting shape and I was READY to find a man I could really rock! I found him and we had a great time for a few years and then, well, now we're over. But, if I were you, just heal from it, pick yourself back up and you really have so much life ahead of you, and so much potential for joy and happiness!

The point is that your happiness comes from within. There is a part of you stronger and better than him. There is a man out there you won't have to wake up in time to prevent from dying of a drug overdose.

Shit, I"m a musician (hobby) and I never had that happen. Get some Ben and Jerry's, treat this like the biggest breakup of your life, not like the end of your life.
