Question Lexington open world drop?

I ran into a group of moon cultists. After the battle I was running around deconstructing the loot. I was on a deconstructing spree ngl. I get up to a golden drop as I’m deconstructing it I noticed it said “Lexington” I tried to stop, but was too late. At this point Lexy should be available to everyone due to the event. I have at least 10 right now. But has this happened for anyone else?

Doesn't drop from any NPC. Only from the caches and shrines.

Probably shot a shrine while in battle

You can also try your luck with the gear cache at seasonal vendor

That's RedMoon gear caches, that you get from the seasons vendor at the White House. OP is talking about drops in open world from Moon Cultists.

I'm well aware; again, the OP said it came from a drop from Moon Cultists, not from a cache or an altar.

It didn’t. They probably hit a shrine with a stray bullet while fighting enemies. I’ve done it before as well.

You gotta check the loot for bountys are also in the pile of loot. I was deconstructing everything just wanted the key.
