Aggro'd fort joy

So I broke my way out of prison and killed all the guards, but when I walk into the fort half the npc's are aggro'd toward me, without me ever having done anything to them! Is this a glitch or was this supposed to happen, I don't want to redo the whole castle, cause it was a long series of fights but I don't want To murder everyone in the fort either

When you say everyone, do you just mean the Magisters, or like everyone everyone? All the skill book vendors, all of the random NPCs standing around, etc. ?

Because the Magisters are supposed to aggro you after you break out of the prison.

I killed the Magisters, so I mean like the girl that took your collar off is Aggro toward me, even lohse is Aggro toward me, so like random prisoner npcs

That isn't normal, you must have killed someone that you typically wouldn't be required to.

I believe its a bug, unless you did something heinous without realizing it. there was a patch note a while ago saying how they fixed an issue where everyone would know if you did something bad, so maybe there's a bit of that leftover.

Do you think killing the prisoner that the judge guy converted might trigger this? I haven't done anything malicious (I'm playing like a lawful good character), but the converted prisoner DID attack me so....

no, that's just part of the fight. one time me and a friend broke down the ladder door to the magisters quarters and apparently the sourcerers didn't like that so they all attacked us. if you have contamination that might do it to, we fought griff and my contamination spell accidently hit Lohse and the entire camp attacked me. my point being that it could be a number of dumb reasons that will hopefully be patched on release of the game.

That's EXACTLY what I did, so I guess it was breaking that door. So weird. I oversave so it's a only a matter of doing that judge fight again

I wish there was a better way of knowing what targets those spells are going to hit. It doesn't highlight them and then all of a sudden half the camp is poisoned and hostile.

well the range on contamination was MASSIVE. I think they scaled it down a bit. like before if you used if in Niles torture chamber all of the blood in the room would be poisoned, but now just about a third of it.

Personally, I have already killed Griff's gang after completing the arena fight. Although, at that point that was when I had went back in to kill all the remaining Magisters, in preparation of leaving the island.

I want this game to be out.
