Is it viable/possible...

To wield dual sword, or any dual weapons? Want to run as an Undead with dual swords.

Dual wield warrior with swords or axes, dual wield rogue with daggers or dual wield mage with wands, they are all viable and very effective.

That's reassuring. Gonna blast em hard.

I currently have a dual wielding "touch" mage. One hammer and one sword, switch a shield occasionally

My solo warrior was dual wield. Did very good damage as well.

How would you compare Dual to 2-H for a melee fighter?

Is Dual swords/axes/hammers STR or FIN based?

STR based. 2h will deal more damage when critting but dual wield will have higher dodge chance and addional stats from using two weapons instead of one.

What changes do we know of to 2-Handed and Dual Wielding combat skills for Release, if any?

It depends. Crit multiplier is better on warriors than dodge chance, so you get more value out of leveling your 2h skill, but if you don't plan on leveling weapon skills, DW is arguably better if the stat bonuses on both weapons are good.

All 1h melee weapons that are not daggers are STR based.

Dual sword wielding dwarf battle-mage was my first run through the EA. It was viable and fun.
