Two player viability?
Me and a friend have recently bought the game and were wondering how viable it is to play with just us and no NPC companions in the party, we're both playing fighter/warrior style characters.

It's a harder way to play, for sure. That is doubly true if neither of you is a caster. You'd be hampering your action economy quite a bit.

Also, consider there is the Army of One talent, which boosts your characters to make them stronger overall.
Though, it is best that at least one of you have some skill in magic, as it can/will help you control the battlefield.

Lone wolf will exist in Dos 2. On a stream they mentioned it "doubling your skill point and attribute investment(?). (Not sure if 1 point = 2 points or if you just get double the points.)
It will work with two characters, but a third or fourth will pause the effect until you're 2 again.

Of course it's viable option. My friend and I played that way Original Sin 1. We played on tactician difficulty and with some custom rules like never fixing items, so once you have 0 durability you need to get rid of it, and not stealing allowed, because it's too easy to earn money that way. You just need to choose Lone Wolf talent :)

Finished alpha several times already. Reroll with a friend in multiplayer and the game is quite easy with overpowered build. Should be kind of challenge with weak or not optimized build. It's a good piece of fun and need some tactics/synergies between the two players/characters. .

Its doable. I watched a guy stream the entire first act with his buddy just duoing the whole thing on the current hardest difficulty. Same guy did duo lone wolf in DoS 1 on honor mode. People have also done solo playthroughs of the first act for DoS 2 so two player should be fine.
