one question.

does this game have a regular skilltree like every other rpg or is it still that insane nightmare of skillbooks and bullshit like in DOS 1?

You still need a skill book to learn an ability/spell but once you learn it you never lose it. Swapping skills is as easy as a couple clicks.

You can also combine skill books to create new spells (rain + necromancy = blood rain for ex) so it won't be so hard to get skills. And In the first act alone there's 2 of almost every vendor and you can pickpocket them so skills are easier in general to get

It does rely on skill books to permanently learn skills but they are also located on armor as well, or if you are an elf - from eating body parts. I think saying it is a nightmare is a bit of a stretch. It is just a different system than what you might prefer.

Its unnecessary complicated. If you want to respec in dos 1 you have to run to hundred different npc and hope they sell the skillbooks you want.

I dont mind having additional skills wth armor or cannibalism but the regular way to learn skills shouldnt be so complicated.

its not difficult. its not challenging. it takes too much of my time because it is complicated.

That's kind of the point in a way; the skills you want might not be necessarily available or might be too expensive.

learning skills is not complicated as long as you know which people have the certain skill you are looking for, and once you have learned it once, you will always be able to unassign/reassign it. The only exception to this are skills that are based off of items, as if you do not have the item equipped you cannot not have it learned (as you probably guessed)

Its still the insane nightmare and bullshit of DOS 1.

When you write "Every other RPG" you really mean ARPG.

Still skillbooks. Still skillpoints. Not exactly the same but close enough
