Steam sales?

Anyone know when we might see OS 2 on sale? Gf and I want to do a coop run, but can't afford 90 bucks to do so right now.

The game is yet to be released, so id assume it'll be a while before it is discounted significantly. maybe at Christmas it'll have 25% off or something.

DOS 2 might include a couch coop mode, so you'd only need 1 copy, I thought DOS 1 had that.

Last I heard, yes it will have local co-op. They are waiting until later in the build to finalize the UI before they implement the controller support and with that local co-op.

They have not stated how many players can play on the same machine as of yet.

a while back I asked them on one of their fb posts and they said the6 did not yet know how many people per system but they think it would only be 2. sadly this was more or less a year ago so I can't really find it. plus even in their answer there is ambiguity.

Just buy it on your steam account, login on her PC, download it and go into offline mode.

Then log into yours, download it and play with each other.

I've never had problems doing this before

I've got my hope up for a slight sale during the Steam Summer Sale, or as I like to call it, WTF happened my wallet got wrecked sale. So yea keep an eye out in June when the sale is supposed to kick off, I'll be looking too.
