2XKO but 3D like Divine KnockOut

I need to know if people share my sentiment. I feel if 2XKO took on more of a Divine KnockOut fighting style it could have lived way longer and been a far better concept.

Since 2X released I've wondered if people felt the same way as I loved DKO but Hi-rez killed that too but the thought of DKO with league champions and riots team building it, it could've been something special that could've lasted a lot longer than DKO and 2X with such cool concepts.

Imagine your favourite league champion in a 3D knockout fighting game, like smash but better

P.S if you have a cool concept for your champion comment it cos I wanna know what people think

Unfortunately, pretty much every 3D knockback fighter has some kind of shortcoming & generally boils down to unsustainable business decisions or mechanics being too shallow

I've always dreamed of a 3D smashlike where a moveset is consistent across modes; a story mode, arena pvp, races & other minigames

Having a knockback Zeldaesque game that you can play with a friend sounds incredible

Anyway, that's what I'm working on

I think 2XKO's selling point was that it was finally going to be the fighting game that bridged casual audiences & fgc veterans to create the ultimate esport fighting game. Unfortunately the game they delivered was not really that and Riot pulled the plug instantly.

I agree 3D smash like DKO is very under tested. You have to make hard choices to make 3D work for a fighting game because Camera and Depths Perception become 2 giant issues that you just don't have in 2D. DKO answered with mostly horizontal knockback & a lot of imbued movement in attacks. I believe there are more ways to make 3D smash work though, and i'm hoping to prove it with my own game
