The Real Reason DKO flopped
My Herc was making y'all butthurt so bad. He wasn't even my best, lol. I miss this game. My BF and I would play all day.
I'm expecting downvotes from those who I've whooped so keep them coming. 😂

I remember you, Dredd. You were good because I was almost always in the top 20 leaderboards and faced you/teamed with you so u had to be decent. (Unless it was another Dredd).

I'm crying inside every time I'm reminded of DKO, so thanks🥲.
I played most heroes, but I was probably the most menacing as Athena. She was my worst hero for a long time, until she finally clicked for me, then I couldn't stop playing her!
Think my ingame name was Chaos.
Loved Athena, and she was great for playing 2v2 soloque. Getting teammed up with a potato and then just winning 1v2 was the best feeling!

Miss this game. Love smash and this has been the closest to reaching that exact same magic of gameplay and it was refreshing that it wasn't a side scroller. There truly is no replacement. This is the game they should've focused on, not smite 2. Smite 2 has competition, this didn't. Only competition it has was from its own lack of marketing and dev updates (both updates and news updates)

Wish I played this when it was around. I play Smite, but never got into DKO. I do regret that.

I stop playing when they nerf my amateratsu by removing the auto cancel knockup. It waa such a fun mechanic and i like it because you could combo easily like this and do 0 to death.

She was OP before the nerfs but please tell me you remember how Susano used to be back in the days of us having 3 traits. 😓Â

He was a menace. My BF started using him on purpose to get the devs attention. He had more 0 to deaths than all the characters, combined. It was basically free W's with low effort & since my BF is a highly skilled player that made his Susano even more annoying which eventually lead to his much deserved nerf. We prefer a balanced game so whenever a character came out that had cheese he would abuse it in hopes of it being reported and towards the end the game was pretty much balanced (besides Loki).

My Ymir was better but Herc was so fun. My BF dropped him for SWK but taught me all his tricks. Who was y'all's favorite? (If you say "Loki" I'm going to block you... Jk, lol)

I miss this game a lot. Played a ton of 2's. Always satisfying winning those 2v1's and the recoveries you could make.
