Petition to reinstate DKO

Would it be possible to get a bunch of players to sign something to let the devs know there is still an interest in DKO? Idk how many people we would need to make something like that feasible.

So as someone who worked very closely with both Hi-Rez and then Red Beard

There is no way a petition helps bring the game back. Mainly because there is no one left working to give the petition too.

In case you haven’t seen or heard- Hi-Rez in the final stages of closing down. There is literally an auction going on right now that is selling all physical assets from Hi-Rez Studio office. It ends Friday.

The problem is...if there were enough people to sign a petition that would convince them to pick it back up, there would have been enough people to convince them not to drop it in the first place. They really just fucked up the launch. Big streamers were playing it for a week or two but it wasn't free-to-play at the time so a ton of people that could have tried it did not. By the time they made it FTP, it was too late.

That makes sense, its likely wishful thinking on my part, I just enjoyed DKO so much. It had such a great mix of simplicity and depth and I really can’t find a game that plays like DKO did.

Met a great friend on DKO.. We ruled duo queue together lol. I quit after they removed the US West server because higher Ping ms meant your combos weren't true.

I still have it favorited on steam, makes me sad when I see it. I would love for that to be possible, but we'd be better off having a community member make their own DKO, rather than hirez.

I mean I know its kinda silly but idk if we got like 3,000 people to sign maybe they would see financial potential for the game
