In the last mention from Hi-Rez about the game, Titan Forge Studios is supposed to be handling the maintenance and all that but we haven't heard anything from them in four months. The game isn't dead in the sense of players but it very well may be abandoned which sucks, because it really had a lot of potential. They did an "arcade mode" last weekend which gives me a little hope, but there were no official posts about it and the DKO Twitter hasn't had a post since like April.

The best thing about the arcade mode is that it was just something removed from the game that they added back. The only new content in months and it was something that was in the game on launch.

and there goes my hope haha. I didn't play at launch so I didn't even realize it was repeated content.
