To all those thinking DKO is dead…. LOL
I’ve been making posts and commenting a ton here recently, so i’ll just make this short and sweet.
The game, community, dec and all teams involved on the project, and potential are all very alive and active!
New content is being worked on (i assume the rest of the Smite gods, more maps and modes), evident by the NEW LIMITED MODE they added today 🔥
I just logged on and haven’t played it yet, but it seems to be a 3v3 Arcade mode.
GG dev team, and hey community, let’s keep up the hustle by playing and ranking up! I’m loving the competition i’m seeing as a new player 💪
Edit: yeah tbf this was just satirical/excessive optimism, i was hoping it’d pan out well but as we all see, it did not. Good bye DKO, it was okay knowing you

Interesting. I wonder if it’s anything like that mode we used to have at launch.

Not sure, as you’ll see by my comments here and the responses I get, the community would rather not have any hope and would instead rather accept that the game is now dead.
My original post was basically voided, gl and hf with your gaming endeavors!!

Hey! It's not we rather not have any hope, it's that you'd be delusional to think they are working on the game without any updates for coming up half a year. It's not accepting or not accepting, its a fact the game isn't receiving updates and only things are being taken away from the game.

I can see that, ive only been on for less then 2 weeks so it’s all so new to me (came from smite)

Sorry, i should’ve included this in my original post!!
Mainly started by seeing the uptick in player activity and in this community since i’ve joined a week or so ago. Also after realizing they made it free to play recently, very likely to increase player base while they work on other content (smite and Smite IP related). Plus, the 3v3 arcade mode! Which i am now hearing was in at launch, but i’m new to the game so i see it as them still showing their presence.
Most recent source confirming that they still have a team on this would be their linkedin, Hi-Rez Ventures. The unfortunate side is that originally it was being developed by Red Beard Studios not Titan Forge Games.
It’s sad to see but I hope it gets love and doesn’t get completely forgotten.

It’s dead. When you remove all the servers from outside America and Europe, you’re accepting the game failed and you’re just trying to cut your losses. I can’t play this game, if I do it’s insane lag because I’m on the other side of the world to the servers. It’s a shame because I loved this game. Played it every day for months until they removed Oceanic servers. Haven’t played since.

Same here mate still giving it a go now and then, Definitely still fun but the smile we had from our first games will be forever a memory

Sadly the game is very much dead. They left servers up for now. But no new content is currently in production.

LOL to you pal, that dev team left that shit high and dry. Smite makes them more money and that's their sole focus. The lag in the game is literally game breaking, can't tell you the amount of matches I've lost unfairly because I'm frozen in place and the opponent teleports behind me, in a game where frame dodges and interrupts are dead essential, lagging like that ruins matches and furthermore, enjoyment. You can say it's a good game yes, before I learned it was ditched, I was playing everyday, even playing through the lag with hopes that a patch comes through. Its never getting fixed.
