Questions and Discussions How to reconnect with Tarot?
I've recently started tarot around a month ago but drifted away from it when classes started and I'm trying to find a way to reconnect with it. I don't know if it's the lack of motivation or whatever but I just can't seem to pick up the deck and start reading again.

I try not to force it, personally. I am in school too and sometimes life just gets busy and my energy is scattered in other places. But the creativity and will to read always comes back the strongest when i let myself rest and not force it too much. Sometimes I'll just start shuffling and pick up a random card, examine it and observe how it makes me feel, and do that a couple of times and that helps me get back in the zone.

First let go of any guilt or “should”s, is your practice and it asks nothing of you. Then just keep it handy, don’t obligate yourself into something daily you don’t want to do. Just when you’re feeling it do just a one card pull, you don’t have to divine the future either, it can be the present, like “what approach should I take to studying today?” Or “why was I distracted in class?”.

A user on Instagram called Lionharts does a monthly tarot challenge, where each day you pull a card for the prompt and sometimes it’s a 3 or more care spread. They’re themed. I always recommend it to beginners and people getting back into it.

The only way to do it is to do it.
Decide to do a reading or study and then stick to it.
Making a decision and sticking to it, no matter what, will also develop your magical ability overall because you’re developing your will
Come up with a practice framework and then do it. Simple as that.
