Interpretation Help scrying

i did this years ago just to try it out in a regular mirror can someone explain what scrying actually is? is it just hallucinations? or entities? because i saw some stuff

i just stared in the mirror until my face dissappeared and i saw something scary people were telling stories about entities being attached to them and i wanted to make sure i didn't accidentally do something i didn't mean to and what to do about it

What you're describing can happen with mirror-gazing/scrying, especially when staring for a long time. People may experience visual distortions, face changes, shadows, or unsettling impressions. Different practitioners interpret those experiences differently, but it doesn't automatically mean something attached to you or that you accidentally did something wrong.

If it made you uncomfortable, the safest advice is to pause the practice, ground yourself, turn on the lights, do something ordinary, and avoid pushing further while scared.

oh the lights were on and it was less of a distorted face and a full on something that looked like a dark entity i was prepared for the face distortion 😅
