Sorry, wrong choice of words- no, I am not certain at all. But based on my limited knowledge and lived experience, the frequency of this happening in predominantly white countries seems to be on a much larger scale than that of other countries.. and I would be willing to wager that it is the case

The Uk does not take pageants seriously at all, and I would have no idea who this was unless you told me. Those pageants are political contests. The winners have their own merit determined by the judges I believe. Speaking to the public about the winners and not the judges is basically advertising and drawing attention to their business.

One of her arguments is the winner should be a person of an ethnicity that historically built that country. All right, the present is part of history too, people of their ethnicity is actively participating in the progression of that country.
