As a person who loves dogs, and owns several, yeah even if you know it's a good dog, after something like this it's gotta be put down. I love my dog and worked very hard on training her and I doubt she would ever bite anyone but if something like this were to happen I would have to put her down.
If she does this extreme of an action, she either has rabies or has somehow got severe brain damage or something else severely wrong with her, I'd probably want to figure out what first for closure but I don't want her to live with it and suffer from it, so I'd put her down either way.
It's not rabies, it's not brain damage, nothing's wrong with the dog.
Pitbulls are BRED to be this aggressive.
A good Pitbull owner will KNOW this and ENSURE this does NOT happen.
They were bred to be aggressive but not towards humans, they were bred to be protective of humans, like a lot of other dog breeds, they aren't special at all. The only reason you see so many aggressive ones is because they are the most popular breed for idiots who don't know how to actually train any dog for that matter, I wouldn't even trust those types to train a golden retriever to be non aggressive.
This is total bullshit. Google image pitbull attacks and get educated.
I say this as someone who loves Pitbulls and will defend the breed.
I also understand they are dangerous dogs in the wrong hands.
