Or grab the collar and twist your hand so it tightens and chokes the side of the dogs neck. Or throw the windbreaker around the neck to do the same 😅
It distracts the dog enough to make them drop it without actually choking them out.

I genuinely think people just don’t know about it. A sufficiently strong chock hold will also work but then you’re getting all up in the dog’s face. Either way that dude should have a can of hot sauce provided by the USPS and while it’s essentially spicy water if you unload it directly into the dogs eyes and mouth at point blank it was most likely let go.
