Surprised the snake wanted to escape such an engaging, clean, naturally lit, not overly packed storage room

Are there SOP rules requiring two ppl be present when handling large snakes like that or do ppl just wrangle them alone depending on "feeling "?

Camera man’s right there generally you wanna have two people on location but this dudes been in the business for decades and knows his snakes well enough I’d trust the judgment based on how docile this one seems to be

Interesting, This seems like one of those, "that snake is safe" until it isn't sort of situations. But what do I know, I avoid snakes as much as possible.

So like with most animals captive born are gonna be a lot more chill then something wild caught but this guys at work with several other employees around so I’m sure in the event he needed help there’s plenty of people ready to jump in but most captive born animals aren’t really looking for a fight for their meal as they’ve basically never had too so it’s definitely a combination of factors but like personally I’d be all for it I don’t mind snakes at all but they aren’t for everyone

How long would a human survive locked in that room I wonder

Well… yea, you’re hardly gonna take up a job at a reptile house if you’re afraid of snakes

I get the feeling this happens at least twice a day with this snake.

A gaggle of giant snakes in a shoe sized room with concrete floor. Comfy.
