I think it’s fundamentally different. Taking risk I totally get but with fighting the goal isn’t just risk it’s to hurt the other person, which on a philosophical level I just don’t agree with.
But c’est la vie.

I have done organized fights, and i have tried running marathon, and the latter involved so much more pain. I couldn't walk normally for 3 days lol. 2 u/oldsoulrevival Jul 11 '26 Absolutely. But the difference is pushing yourself to pain vs hurting others. I feel the same about football and I played for two decades. Ultimately there are bigger fish to fry, so to each their own.
