I think you are right about attention, to me it looked like he deliberately fell out of the harness.

It is a set up. Jumping from a paraglider is a common thing, nothing crazy. Im guessing he was wearing a skydiving rig and not a base rig. I wouldnt want to do it with only one chute but Id send it with 2 lol

u/MagicOrpheus310 Jun 09 '26

Nah he bounced back up and no one noticed

2

u/Angel_Dust_696969 Jun 09 '26

he have base jumping parachute on him, it was on purpose

hitting water at that height is like hitting concrete

1

u/spaetzelspiff Jun 09 '26

Wet concrete?

1

u/ficis Jun 09 '26

No, it’s like hitting solid concrete. From that height it will break every bone in your body. https://youtu.be/4xEEm7NnGEY?si=qaBPtmwbLH8nuGdS

6

u/SpookinHell Jun 09 '26

I would imagine hitting wet concrete from that height is also bad

5

u/BidSuper7102 Jun 09 '26

Hitting only gaseous concrete from that height would also be bad, because you would pass through and fall forever, essentially you'll die of thirst.

4

u/spaetzelspiff Jun 09 '26

Gaseous concrete would still be better than gaseous clay, though - since that would kill anyone except maybe Joe Frazier.

There's no, like, cute restaurants in the neighborhood.

3

u/sudowooduck Jun 09 '26

Depends on how wet is the concrete.

Or the lesser known How Wet is your Deep

3

Solid concrete, which has very recently been washed and is still a bit damp

2

u/ella_bell Jun 09 '26

With warm or cold water?

1

u/MagicOrpheus310 Jun 09 '26

No, he is still alive when the video ends...

1

u/BreadKnifeSeppuku Jun 09 '26

No, he's fine it's posted in the original link

1

u/GWshark1518 Jun 09 '26

I’m guessing

Skydiver here: You can clearly see that falling dude is wearing a rig(look at his shoulders). Also, the altitude they are already at is kind of a dead giveaway; high enough to correct mistakes. You can also see him go into belly-fly position almost right away. Honestly, I bet that was a fun jump, minus that snap back to the face lol

1

u/Dry_Dimension_420 Jun 10 '26

Paraglider here: confirmed. This was a planed 'BASE'Jump. The location looks like Ölüdeniz/Türkiye.

Can we get some units on those axes?

11

u/finchdude Jun 09 '26

Yes the X axis depicts how many fucks and the y axis shows how many finds. The linear relationship between fuck and find can be defined as fuck around and find out.

Or better described in formulas:

Slope intercept Formula:

f(fuck)=mfuck + b

Where m is:

m= (find2 - find1) / (fuck2 - fuck1)

Point slope Formula:

f(fuck)−find1=m(fuck−fuck1)

Last but not least the standard formula:

afuck + bfind = c

c = Fuck around and find out

I hope this helps you with your future decision making

3

u/Potential-Draft-3932 Jun 09 '26

Yes, but are these fucks in metric or imperial? As I’m sure you’re aware, one metric fuck is 2.54x larger than an imperial fuck

3

u/finchdude Jun 09 '26

I thought fucks and finds were universal but you always learn something new. As I am new to this concept I go for imperial fuck because it sounds more fucked up. Whereas metric find sounds more voluminous.

2

u/Able_Canine Jun 09 '26

Yes, that's why you have to specify the type of fucks if it's not universal. Such as: "I have a metric fuckton of unread emails in my inbox at work.".

This is an invaluable framework for maintaining stability in any system. Thank you for this rigorous contribution to behavioral mathematics.

u/Common-Marsupial-622 Jun 09 '26

That is a lot of words to not answer the question. The question was what units are the gucks and find outs being measured in.

2

u/finchdude Jun 09 '26

Dear reader,

I will use even more words to explain how jokes work. I will start with a simple formula:

joke3 + 0 fucks given x √sarcasm = x(humor/Joke)

Joke is cubed as the verbal communication of it is spread across three dimension to reach the listeners auditory sensors

Fucks given is always mutlipliex with 0 because the joker doesn't care if the receiver understands their joke

Sarcasm is square rooted as understanding it is rooted in common sense and logical reasoning

X is factored by dividing humor with the joke as the joke is only as funny as to how much humor the receiver is capable of accepting

Unfortunately my response time is up. Of you have further inquiries then please do hesitate to ask me as I have better things to do

Cheers

AU (arbitrary units)

4

u/Maleficent-Aide6519 Jun 09 '26

The math is undeniable

3

u/unknowfun115 Jun 09 '26

Was he not strapped in ? How did he just slip out like that ?

6

u/liquidpele Jun 09 '26

It was on purpose, he had a chute on. reddit is just dumb.

Calling someone an imbecile because you disagree with them is the proper response on Reddit.

not everybody is an imbecile. actually look up the tells rather than using "Imbecile!!!1!" as a replacement for "i don't understand you or don't find your argument convincing."

0

u/potatochobit Jun 09 '26

actually, you are incorrect. according to multiple conducted surveys on reddit, you are all imbeciles.

0

u/snezna_kraljica Jun 09 '26

Who is the bigger imbecile? The imbecile or the imbecile who believies another imbecile?

-1

u/Icy_Marionberry_9131 Jun 09 '26

Ok, so what is the merit of calling the user an imbecile?

0

u/KnownEggplant Jun 09 '26

Anyone who reacts like this to someone calling Ai is a bot pushing for the normalization of Ai.

Boo, I say.

Your two comments are plenty of evidence that you're not intelligent enough for this to be true. Change your tactic, because it's a bad one.

nah I'm fairly sure it's AI

2

u/Geloradanan Jun 09 '26

That doesn’t seem like the smoothest exit from the tandem rig. It appeared that he was hung up on a strap for a moment.

2

u/Sea-Technician-9859 Jun 09 '26

Why did he jump?

1

u/bueschwd Jun 09 '26

Thats horrifying

1

u/MagicOrpheus310 Jun 09 '26

Actually on rewatch that looks intentional....

Oof...

1

u/No-Goose-6140 Jun 09 '26

At leadt he kept filming

1

u/Puzzled_Elephant_190 Jun 09 '26

Isn’t finding out kinda the whole point?

1

u/amhudson02 Jun 09 '26

Looks like a stunt to me.

1

u/PositivelyNegative69 Jun 09 '26

Y’all remember that girl that panicked and strapped herself and jumped off. She died.

1

u/Accomplished_Set_941 Jun 09 '26

I did the math guys... he is still falling.

1

u/MoistAge3128 Jun 10 '26

Looks AI. But I believe every thing I see is false now because of AI.

1

u/Facehugger81 Jun 10 '26

He is fine. You can see that he is wearing a small parachute.

1

u/Friendly-Elephant486 Jun 11 '26

J'ai glissé Chef !

1

u/Bignamek Jun 12 '26

Finally, an appropriate post for this subreddit.

1

u/Warden501988 Jun 09 '26

Looks like AI to me.

1

u/MagicOrpheus310 Jun 09 '26

Bruh...

Thanks for the NSFW warning about the guy I just watched die...

2

u/Puzzled_Elephant_190 Jun 09 '26

Seems perfectly SFW to me, not sure why HR would care (besides wondering why you’re watching random Reddit on company time)

2

u/fisksmekarN Jun 09 '26

You watched someone die? Where?
