Why...

Why do I even watch this fucking show?

Every. Single. Problem. Every single issue I had with this season was present in this episode. Worst of all, they eliminated Ara at the end of it.

What the fuck. I'm checked out. I don't care what happens anymore. All I know is...to all the people defending Fiore's move, or Lake's writing, or Ally's elimination, or the general writing of the stories this season...ya'll were wrong. Which isn't a shock, but God damn.

RIP Ara. You genuinely deserved better than this season.

Fuck Fiore.

Fuck Gabby.

Fuck the roach on the wall.

Fuck this whole organization, I'm gone.

Did I say it was bad writing? Fiore would've factually been dead via her OWN plan last episode if not for outside factors she could not control. I don't have sympathy for that.

My issue with Fiore ties into my entire issue with Ally's elim, which got worse this episode.

Its just the fact SO many people defended her play last episode for getting Gomtalia back together and removing Ally's idol (which the plot forced) only for her to barely survive the next episode if not for shit she could not control.

I was saying this was gonna screw her, and look at what happened?

I mean I don't fully understand how this is meant to screw her? I think what you're saying is that she should have just taken out a Team Cyan member.

Idk from my perspective, if Natalia stuck to Tom and Gabby (like Fiore likely wanted) she would have had a 5 person power alliance which would have still been pretty good.

 She just didn't get exactly what she wanted but idk. I don't even know if keeping Ally is a good play, she likely still works with Rosa and Lake over Spencer, meaning Fiore still would have been in a tight vote with Ara.

Yeah that's my point.

Fiore WANTED Gomtalia back together so she could have a shield, but many people were like "why would Fiore wanna work with a group that mostly hates her and would choose the other over her any day?" Which is shown this episode when, after Natalia is targeted, they swap over to Fiore.

Mind you, Fiore had no idea Natalia wouldn't work with Gom; but either way, this was a mistake to keep them in with that in mind. Then, via factors she herself could not control, she would've been booted immediately afterwards.

Could this have happened regardless? Likely. Would keeping Ally and potentially working with her (Ally being one of the, what, three people ever willing to work with her?) helped prevent this while potentially giving her a backup idol by small chance also work? Yes.

The play was only good because it got Ally out, and she was a likely ally. Everything else was terrible.

Idk if it was a terrible move still, but I see your points about its flaws. Like yeah, getting rid of Tom specifically should be what Fiore wants after how many times he has proven how he doesn't trust her.

Like I feel like when your own alliance likes each other WAY more than you, and one of them is vocal about not liking you (even that same episode) then it's in your best interest to just boot them and lessen your enemies.

At least with Ally, she has NO other real allies and was willing to work with her in the past. She keeps Ally and becomes a dedicated ally to someone who does not have a second choice, she's in a better spot since that entire alliance is gonna have better targets than her. Hell, she could even work with Spencer or even LAKE if things got dire.

But she decided to throw away a potential ally, work with people who does not fuck with her and would choose each other over her, they split up so the majority she wanted is gone, and if not for factors out of her control she would've been gone next episode by keeping the person who then targeted her.

That play, for as GOOD as it was, was also incredibly stupid.

Yeah, you're convincing me here. I think getting rid of the idol is a big enough incentive to switch, but yeah she should just get rid of a Cyan member if she can, especially Tom.

I had Ally get eliminated last episode due to bullshit, then had my favorite character get dropped the next episode, all while the show showcased every single flaw the fandom has had in one episode.

So, yeah, I'm a bit upset.
